Experience
I'm certified special education teacher with a masters degree in the field from Molloy College. My certification is to help students from birth through the sixth grade, but I have also tutored students in high school and college. My specialty is English language arts, but I'm comfortable in a number of subjects. These include geography, psychology, history, public speaking, study and organizational skills, and test preparation. I believe that all students can learn, and that provides the foundation of my teaching philosophy. I enjoy helping students learn using a collaborative approach where students are very active in sessions and we focus on their needs. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and writing, getting out in nature, hiking, practicing photography, and animals.
