I received my master's degrees in Middle School Science, Elementary Education, and Biology from NYU and Hofstra University. I was a respiratory therapist. Science is about studying how the world works and I enjoy discovering it in ordinary life and displaying it with hands on exercises. I am excellent when it comes to helping students learn about the human body. Science and Math are topics that are comprised of patterns to be identified and I challenge the students to discover them as quests for solving problems. I believe that when they comprehend the concepts of the subject, learning is more enjoyable and fun. I like children's literature and remember the great stories of my youth, which I want to inspire in the students. I have also worked in pediatrics, which provided me the chance to cultivate connections with children (this has helped me with the desire to be a teacher). I enjoy spending time outdoors, nature, animals, astronomy, gardening, hiking, and biking.
