Experience
I received my bachelor's degree in romance languages and minored in business as well as psychology. Before I received my degree in 2011, I lived abroad and studied in Paris, and enjoyed it very much. I am currently attending NYU, where I am studying to be a translator of the French language.I have five years of experience tutoring students, and because I have already been through advanced placement classes while in high school, I know what the students are going through, and how discouraging it can be trying to keep up with the workload and the fast-paced classes. When I tutor children, I spend the time it takes with them until they know the subject well before we move on to anything new. I strive to do things differently, and even use a little humor and technology to aid the students in learning new and harder material. They will feel almost like they are having fun, when in reality what they are actually doing is learning. I can tutor in many subjects such as English geometry, psychology, languages, arithmetic, and elementary and middle school math. In my free time, I love to go to street fairs, bake, cook, and travel. I also love to do yoga when I can fit it into my schedule, as well as travel.
