I am an Accounting and Finance tutor, with experience assisting college students. I have a passion for tutoring Accounting because of the value it provides to businesses and organizations. I specialize in using a modeling technique with my students, changing the way I present the material until it's in a form that resonates with them. It is incredibly rewarding to see when the material is understood, applied, and has ultimately become useful to a student. I received my Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Florida International University where I started my path to tutoring, taking on a request from my accounting professor. In the beginning, I worked with just two students, who were part of the athletic program. After seeing great success with them, I was referred to, and subsequently hired by, the Department of Athletics at FIU. I have since worked with many other student athletes and find the work very rewarding. In my time outside of academia, I enjoy a good book, taking walks in nature/hiking, and working out/exercising.
