Students I tutor have made incredible strides in school; some have improved their scores more than 20 points. I tutor elementary students in writing, reading, and math. I tutor high school students in math too. I am a co-founder of a mentoring group for children preparing for New York State exams. I have also privately tutored students ages 7-14 in science, math, writing, and reading. In high school, I was recognized by the guidance department, and graduated with honors in biology research. I am studying biology, pre-medicine (as a major), and business (as a minor) at Cornell University. I have participated in original research through the American Museum of Natural History. I'm also part of several campus organizations at Cornell in a leadership role. I like to dance, and I'm trained in contemporary, hip-hop, Bhangra, Kathak, and modern. For the last four years, I have enjoyed working as a professional photographer. When I complete my studies at Cornell, I plan to enroll in medical school or study healthcare management and consulting. In my free time, I enjoy design, community service, photography, a good book, and dance.Due to my background in science and medicine, I am well-versed and happy to tutor students in the sciences (anatomy, biology, chemistry, physiology) and mathematics (elementary and middle school math, precalculus, trigonometry, algebra 1 and 2, and calculus 1). I also tutor SAT and PSAT test prep and subject tests.
