Math, social studies, writing, language arts, and literature are my favorite subjects to tutor. I teach all ages ranging from kindergarten up through twelfth grade and have even worked with college students. It's always a thrill to hear students' ideas and opinions in regards to literature and social studies topics. Problem solving is the dominant activity with math so I help my tutees with the best ways to do so. The question "why?" is essential for learning and a student's goal should not just be to know. Understanding why something is fosters learning more than anything else, and learning lets people be fully engaged with the world.I have a Bachelor of Arts in History, from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Also, I have a Master of Arts in Teaching. I like to read, watch movies, and listen to music when not teaching. Also, I enjoy baseball and playing various types of video games.
