I enjoy using a variety of different tricks and techniques to help my students have an easier time learning, and retaining what they have learned. After I graduated college, I was recruited to teach by the Teach for America program. There, I taught elementary school in New Orleans, and went on to become a certified teacher there. I have worked with high school students, and even helped prepare them for graduation with the GED program. Half a year ago, I left to travel and see the world, including Europe. I have also taught English in the Czech Republic. I love helping my students learn English, as well as appreciate the written word. I find it satisfying to help students understand how to craft well written papers, since composition is another one of my favorite subjects.I offer tutoring in ESL/ELL, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, European History, Geography, Public Speaking, English, Biology, Science, Spanish 1-2, Languages, and help with test prep, including for the GED, SAT, and TOEFL.I graduated from New York University, where I earned a B.A. in English and Political Science.When I'm not busy, I love to play the piano and go walking around my beautiful neighborhood in New Orleans.
