I am a Spring 2015 cum laude graduate of Benedict College, a historically black college in Columbia, SC. I majored in English (BA English) and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Throughout my college matriculation I participated in various clubs and organizations. Some the organizations I participated in include: The National Society of Leadership & Success , International English Society, NAACP, Service Learning and Leadership Development, and Bible Study.
Experience
While in College, I tutored many people at my school as well as off campus in various subjects, mainly in English. I want to be a tutor because I love helping people and I want others to know that they can reach their full potential even though there is a challenge. Relevant coursework include: Literary Criticism, Critical Thinking, Technical Writing, Modern English Grammar, History of the English Language, World Literature, African American Literature I & II, British Literature I & II, and Research in English.
