Experience
I've always had a passion of helping young people make sense of things. Working as a Librarian my freshmen at college really helped me to become a better tutor, and being a tutor helps me be a better librarian. They're both about figuring out exactly what people are looking for.

Hobbies
I really like watching students progress. Whether it be in academics or simply following their dreams. There's no greater feeling than seeing my students see things in a clearer lens. Currently, I help students with disabilities at Hofstra University in essay writing and assisting them with note taking. Apart from being a tutor, I'm a Youth Ambassador who is ready to change the world one step at a time! My previous work experiences at Sadie Nash leadership Project has well equipped me to take on the role of leadership, and to become an active agent for change not only in my life but for many women around the world. The organization has been a key asset for young girls especially myself in carving and redefining the true nature of leadership, and how one can promote practices that are ethical as well as beneficial to their surroundings. To add, working as a Vice President Intern at Keep A Child Alive has allowed me to see the world on a larger scale. It has given me the understanding of what it means to have a global family, one who cares, love, listens, and a much greater purpose of being. Positive Planet as well as my role as a student ambassador at International youth leadership Institute, has also provided me with a strong base of communication knowledge, and has helped me learn how to work on many projects at once, work quickly and efficiently, and take on issues not only in my community but on an international level.
